NEED A COMMERCIAL EICR QUOTE QUICKLY?

In order for us to provide our most competitive quote in a timely manner it’s important we get some crucial information. We need to know how many single phase and three phase circuits are at each and every board. We will also need clear photos of each board opened so that the labeling of each circuit can be seen whether it’s blank or not. If you cannot provide the above, please get in contact and we will arrange an alterative quotation based on your needs.

Domestic EICR

(10+ Way Boards)

At Salient we like to keep things simple as possible. This is why we have a fixed price for domestic EICRs. Check the consumer unit in your property and see how many breakers/ways the board has. If you have ten or less breakers we charge £120+VAT, if your consumer unit(s) have over ten breakers we charge £150+VAT. Top tip: If any of the ‘breakers’ have a little test button, they’re actually what’s known as RCD’s and shouldn’t be counted as breakers.

WHAT IS AN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORT (EICR)?

An Electrical Installation Condition Report is comprised of fixed wire testing; the internal inspection of all aspects of your electrical distribution system to ensure optimum safety.

Our operatives are highly experienced in finding any potential hazards within your electrical installation. We check all areas of your installation including the main incoming supply through to light fittings and sockets. We test and demonstrate the safety of your electrical installation by injecting test voltages of which allows us to measure and document the true functionality of the installations cables and connections.

HOW OFTEN DOES IT NEED TESTING?

The frequency in which your electrical installation will need inspecting will depend on a number of factors, such as the type of installation, its use and frequency of maintenance.

If you’re unsure of how this applies to you, simply get in touch with our team and they’ll advise you on the recommended and required frequency for your commercial property.
